General Info

During the course of the year the Isle of Wight Riding Club organises a wide range of events which are open to both members and non-members.  All are welcome to enter and our friendly club is happy to welcome and encourage all, from the most novice beginner to the more experienced and competitive rider, adult and child alike. The Winter Dressage Series held at Lake Farm encourages all levels of horse and rider. In this series points will be awarded to 1st - 4th in each section and a sash presented to the winner of each section after the final dressage in April 2014..

The Riding Club hold showjumping shows throughout the year, also a novice ODE, special christmas show and summer dog show.

There are mainland events during the year at which the club encourages members to enter, you can take part in a team, or individual.  Any members wishing to put themselves forward for selection should notify Sue Holmes (seniors) or Sarah Parker, Vicky Whyte, (juniors). Please email sarah@i-c-h.co.uk and your details will be forwarded to the correct person.

 There are non-competitive events organised on a regular basis, these include social evenings and spider rides.  Mainland day trips can be arranged. These could include Badminton, Olympia and visits to competitive yards.  Please use the contact form on this website if you have any ideas that you would like the committee to consider.
